@aral You've been running your private instance for a while now, and I'm considering starting my own as well. Could you share with me some information about your server? Like how much disk space its database and media cache take up, how fast they've been growing over time, how much network traffic it sees from federation, etc.I'm trying to evaluate the feasibility of running on my own hardware from my residential internet connection.

Just finished reading volume 1 of "Sideways" by @idiotvera . I'm already hooked on the story and looking forward to volume 2.It's a story about Abigail, a #trans woman barely surviving in a big city until she tries to take a shortcut to work through an alley she hadn't noticed before, and finds herself stuck in a new world full of magic. In volume one, we follow her as she meets her first friend in this new world and starts making sense of it all.I highly recommend giving it a read!

Finally got around to doing my nails again after a long time. I still need a lot of practice, but I'm happy enough with these results. #TransJoy #trans
